Hello! We are HelloEOS.
Our team is the earliest to actively promote EOS and provide community services in China. Our core members are the earliest and most professional block producer of DPOS/POS, running nodes since the birth of DPOS in 2014.
Dedicated to promoting EOS to the greater mass, we concentrated on the needs of communities and the education of general users and spent most of our time spreading concepts and techniques of EOSIO and establishing communities nationwide.
Zicen: The Most Representative KOL in Chinese Community
Zicen, the founder of HelloEOS, participated in DPOS ecosystem since the very beginning, and is a renowned KOL in domestic crypto community for being the translator of EOS Whitepaper. Chinese community call him “奶王”, which means “the King of EOS preach”.
Over the past few years, Zicen took part in countless interviews, summits, conferences and meetups, covering almost every major city in China and even Thailand and South Korea.
As a result, his inspirational speech and energetic behavior made him the most representative KOL in EOS Community and the favorite guest of all kinds of crypto events.
So far, the personal weibo of Zicen had published more than 4,800 posts about EOS, with 130 thousand followers accumulating over 100 million views.
To acquire instant comments and news of EOS, mainstream media platforms in China (including Jinse, Mars, Bishijie, BitKan, Bikuaibao, and Tuoluo, etc.) keep their eyes on Zicen’s weibo account and will capture his posts and sync to their websites once they are published.
HelloEOS: What We Have Contributed to the EOS Community
HelloEOS is a professional team with legitimate business in China. We translated the EOS whitepaper into Chinese and cooperated with other community members to publish a series of EOS related articles, such as “A Brief Reading Guide for EOS.IO Whitepaper” and “The Most Authoritative Reading Guide for EOS”, which were the most worth-reading EOS related reading materials in China.
The Hello Team has known for the strength of the community well since the build of HelloBTS community, whose members were over 200,000 individuals.
Ever since our announcement of the EOS Block Producer Candidacy, we have been utilizing our advantages on community building, continuously providing the Chinese community the latest trending news of EOS and introducing the most excellent project teams within EOS ecosystem.

Creating the Matrix of Full-Range Content Output

By means of interviews and videos, we had brought many great overseas BP teams to the Chinese community along with their projects and products such as wallets, block explorers, tools and DApps. We will record personal experiences while using the product, so that the functions and characteristics of each product was demonstrated vividly and entirely.

Over the past two years, HelloEOS had published 4,519 original articles, accumulating 2,700,000 characters with more than 179,000,000 views. Among them, the HelloEOS WeChat subscription is our first issue domestic platform where we had pushed 2399 articles with 2,370,000 words and 44,000,000 views; while our foreign platform accounts had pushed more than 120 articles and 180 news with 10,000 words and 350,000 views.
Establishing Communities Nationwide
Right before the launch of EOS mainnet in 2017, we hosted the first round of blockchain national roadshow. Later on, when a number of teams gone mute, we were still here, hosting the second round of China tour themed “Hello EOS, Hello Friends”, which had become one of the highlights of EOS community in the whole year of 2018.
2019 was filled with silence, while HelloEOS chose to initiate our roadshow 3.0. Traveling through 7 major cities in China (Hangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Xiamen, and Nanjing), there were more than 4,200 community members attending events, more than 200,000 of online interactions, accumulating 2,620,000 views online and offline.
With power and strength of our communities, the roadshow turned out to be a great success, marking the most popular crypto event series in Chinese EOS community with the widest coverage, the longest lasting, and the most comprehensive community partners.
Inviting Multi Parties into EOS Ecosystem
We invited partners who plays distinct roles in the EOS ecosystem — Block Producers, developers, exchanges, wallets, media, so that we could together foster a better ecosystem of EOS.
There were more than 40 partners in total:

Among them, EOS NATION, JEDA, and EOS NodeOne are partners overseas. They flew miles to China, to our events.
The discussed topics involved technical concepts, ecosystem building, DApp developing, governance, wallet security, etc. Each team also shared what they were working for the ecosystem and their approaches of solving different issues. Meanwhile, HelloEOS helped nearly a dozen DApp teams to build their own communities in China, connecting users with team members to know more about the products.
Developing DApps & Tools
i. DAppCPU: Free CPU Service
Focusing on the shortage of CPU resource due to the heat of EOS DApps, HelloEOS developed DAppCPU, providing Free CPU service to the community.
ii. PIZZA-USDE: EOS-based Stablecoin
Dedicated to building a bridge between EOS ecosystem and the world of fiat currency, we start the DeFi project: PIZZA-USDE. Zicen himself designed the EOS based stablecoin system, wrote the Whitepaper 1.0 and acted as CEO of PIZZA-USDE core team. And HelloEOS invested and incubated PIZZA-USDE as the early support.
iii. PIZZA DEX
PIZZA DEX is a decentralized exchange based on EOS blockchain, supporting matchmaking trading and swap trading, and listed PIZZA/EOS, PIZZA/USDE, EOS/USDE，USDT/USDE，EIDOS/EOS，POOL/EOS，YAS/EOS for now.
Concentrating on Security
HelloEOS managed to bring SlowMist, the top-level blockchain security team, into the EOS ecosystem, and conducted in-depth cooperation within extensive areas.
i. BP Nodes Security Checklist
Before the mainnet launch, we connected with top security teams, took the lead and created a group for all the teams involved in this big thing to communicate directly. Together we completed the BP nodes security checklist, provided node security architecture guidance, security auditing and attack & defense rehearsal.

ii. EOS MonKit — Gain Insight into Everything about EOS Contract
HelloEOS collaborated closely with SlowMist upon this project, sharing security intelligence and offering safety audit services. HelloEOS is listed as ecological partners of EOS MonKit: https://eos.slowmist.io
iii. FireWall.X — Powerful Firewall for EOS Contract
HelloEOS will continue to collaborate with SlowMist in FireWall.X (https://firewallx.io/) to identify hackers’ accounts and list them in documentaries to prevent others from their attacks, guaranteeing the security of smart contracts.
In consideration of the contributions we made, the SlowMist Team decided to give HelloEOS 1024 SLOWMIST Token as a reward, which was kind of an exception, as SLOWMIST is designed to be a prize for security geeks.
HelloEOS may not be a team with considerable security background, but we respect and think highly of technology and security intelligence. It is our faith that encourages us to continuously bring developers into the ecosystem of EOS, and yes, we nailed it.
